Notifications

Each notification reaches you in the site (the bell at the top) and by email at the same time, in your preferred language. If notifications are on in the mobile app, you get a phone alert too.

1. Mark all as read: clears the “new” mark from every notification.
2. A notification: title, details and time. A new one is highlighted; clicking it marks it read and opens the page it is about (the order, the workshop, the certificate…).

You are notified, for example, when:

• Orders and payment: we receive your order, the payment is confirmed, a receipt is rejected (with the reason), or an order is cancelled or refunded.
• Workshops: a session is coming up, a session time changes, materials or a recording are added.
• Courses: a new lesson is added, you complete the course, or quiz attempts are reopened for you.
• Certificates: a certificate is issued to you.
• Academy messages: announcements and offers.

Announcements#

Academy news stays in Announcements in the menu (at the top, under “My dashboard”): announcements for all students, and for your workshops and courses. The red number next to it = new announcements you have not opened.

1. Pinned: an important announcement stays first, marked “Pinned”. It is also the one shown on “My dashboard” under “From the academy”.
2. For a workshop’s students: an announcement about a workshop or course you are in shows its name.

An announcement you have not seen yet is marked New, and the mark goes away once you open the page.

When a new announcement is posted, you get a notification in the bell and on the phone (and important ones by email too).

Preferences#

At the end of the notifications page, open Preferences:

1. Session reminders: 24 hours and one hour before each of your sessions, by email and in the site. On by default; you can turn them off.
2. Offer messages: discounts and promotions from the academy. Off unless you turn them on.
3. Save preferences.
